Welcome to Old Settler’s Inn
Old Settler’s is a historic gem on the south side of Union Grove. It was originally built in the early 1960’s as a 10 lane “bowling alley” and later purchased by the Norbert Landreman family in 1972. Remodeled and added on to several times, the family transformed the venue into Union Grove’s only real Family Entertainment spot.
In 1989, Butch Schoenfuss along with several partners bought the “Grove Bowl” from the Landreman family and started on a journey that is now 35 years in the making. Old Settler’s offers 16 bowling lanes, an indoor golf simulator, pool and darts inside and volleyball, horseshoes and bags outside. We host many family and corporate events. If you have a need to gather for any reason, Old Settler’s is a great place to have your event. Recently updated and modernized, we offer a warm inviting space where guests can relax, dine and enjoy the beauty of small-town charm.
And the FOOD! We hear it all the time, “This is not bowling alley food.” Our menu showcases the best of local flavors with hearty dishes inspired by time-honored recipes and a commitment to quality. By combining favorites patrons have enjoyed for over 40 years with many new exciting options, you’ll be sure to find that dish that truly hits the spot.
Old Settler’s has so much to offer! Stop in to enjoy new memories, celebrate milestones and enjoy the warmth of Union Grove’s community spirit. We look forward to serving you!
